nest

luscious lover, she
gently lifts her sultry lips
in line with mine
to find inspiration’s kiss

sex connects our
complexes
detects our shipwrecks
in seconds
identifies needs (that were)
numerically numbed
by nihilistic notions

warmth wafts up
unwithering
waking my waxed
and waning mind
mending a myriad of
mortal misconceptions (that were)
married to my self

safety softly listens
socratically silencing my insecurities
nary a nuance of negativity
can navigate this
newfound nest
