Creatures.

Pounding down the door or
Letting itself quietly in
To do what it pleases

Intrusive as the sun or
Elusive as the breeze
It calculatedly reaches

Knives in the moonlight or
Flowers plucked in June
It silently seizes

Soft enough to lay down or
Prodding until puncture
It deceptively teaches

Coursing through my body or
Inserting in my mind
Its sultry diseases

Clawing for my life or
Laying down to die
On its blood-red beaches

Breeding within my heart or
Creeping in from outside
My pungent creatures
