Depression.

Depression is
meditation
on the edge
of a blade
It makes you
whole
by splitting
you in two
It makes you
love
by making
you bleed

Depression is
meditation
at the point
of a gun
It punctures
your skin
to fill your
cracks
It blows you
apart
to gather
your strength

Depression is
meditation
at the edge
of a cliff
It makes you
bow
to raise
you up
It makes you
jump
to teach you
to fly

Depression is
meditation
at the bottom
of the ocean
It crushes you
to demonstrate
your true
size
It suffocates
you so you
gain appreciation
for your breath
