Read Between the Signs.

When they are rude to you
It’s a sign of their own pain

When they tell you lies
It’s a sign of their own shame

When they are impatient
It’s a sign of their own anxieties

When they’re competitive and brag
It’s a sign of their own insecurities

When they rage and berate you
It’s a sign of their own incompetence

When they are erotic and reckless
It’s a sign of their own loneliness

When they are cold and callous
It’s a sign of their own depression

When they are loud and crude
It’s a sign of their low self-esteem

When they are stoned and drunk
It is a sign of their own suffering

When they are brutal bullies
It’s a sign of their own incompleteness

When they judge and scorn you
It’s a sign of their own weakness

When they divide and conquer you
It’s a sign of their own fear

When they cause you to weep
It’s a sign of their own tears
