Ripples.

Action, reaction,
threads weave a web,
stone meets pond
and eternity ebbs.
Ripples burst forth
from the biggest bang,
let there be light
in every language, they sang.

Stars far more
than ever fathomed can be,
equal to the ripples in
the great eternal sea.
With no more garden
to corral time’s pond,
the Deep bursts forth
in chaos, so fond.

Action, reaction,
subdued, unleashed,
little foxes loot us when
we succumb to the beast.
Utensil tongues
feed us our own pride,
the fruits of our labours
judge our Depths inside.

Proud Behemoth spirals
out of its cage,
control, our illusion,
has set up his stage.
The Serpent’s great ripple
unassumingly swam,
Son, like Father, becomes
Leviathan.

Action, reaction,
a man cannot contend,
a way that seem right is
another dead end.
Jealousy inherited
from God up above,
our greatest vice keeps us
from the greatest of loves.

Justice written down
in plain stone cannot cut
through this spider’s web,
our unlawful chaotic rut.
Chisels –
even weaker than our minds are dim –
cannot suffice
the altar of our sins.

Action, reaction,
Wisdom toils undying
I pray you keep the pace,
O Mother of the crying.
Only that Woman has
the skill set to balance
Wisdom’s burden and
her discerning talents.

Before the setting sun,
she glided there and here,
words become flesh
whenever she draws near.
She leaves clues and ripples
to help focus our scope;
storms and quarrels
cease in sight of her hope.

Action, reaction,
a man sold his lot,
heard a ripple say that
garden’s aren’t bought,
heard a clue whisper that
justice is grown
when a man follows the ripples
all the way home.

Wisdom toils
to put gardens back together
while we destroy them
with our Deep, stormy weather.
Wisdom, when can
heaven be done on Earth?
Action, reaction,
ripples of rebirth.
