my constellation

my constellation
is rarely visible to the naked eye
but from time to time
it’s possible to observe my shine
each of my planets orbits a different star
they’re disjointed, lightyears apart
they’re each bound by a different gravity
some spin gracefully, others savagely
each has a climate all its own
some of them rhyme, but none are clones
beach paradises can be found
others are lush jungles and swamps
some have no trace of dry ground
some are timid, others proud
they rarely do what I want
and it’s not worth forcing something
to take shape when the timing’s off
but when they finally align,
I can feel them lock into destiny
spinning so effortlessly inside of me
forming an effervescent symphony
and no I can deny
the beauty that I hide
